Roy Wilkinson | Senior Pastor
Pastor Roy has been in bi-vocational ministry since January 2009 when he and his wife started working in children's ministry at New Harvest Worship Center in Lake Wales, FL. By April, they were also leading a youth ministry which saw rapid growth and quickly became the passion for their ministry for the next 8 years. In October 2013, they were hired on as youth pastors for Ridge Community Church, in Dundee, FL. In October of 2017, Roy was asked to become an Associate Pastor at RCC and remained in that position until September of 2022. During this time, Roy has had a career in the fire service, serving the citizens of Lake Wales for 22.5 years. In that time, Roy served as a firefighter, paramedic, Lieutenant, and Deputy Chief. He is grateful for that career and knows that it gave him so much experience for the next chapter of his life and calling. In September, 2022 Roy was appointed as Senior Pastor of Highlands and in February 2025, Highlands re-launched as Journey Point Church! He and his family are loving the relationships gained and the momentum of the church going forward in the vision given by God for this new season.

Ivey Wilson | Director of Worship Ministries
Ivey Wilson has been involved in worship ministry since childhood—starting in kids church, growing through youth ministry, and continuing to serve faithfully ever since. That early spark developed into a lifelong passion for helping others encounter God’s presence through worship.
In January 2024, Ivey joined Journey Point as Director of Worship Ministries and soon after also stepped into the role of Administrative Assistant. She has a heart for leading worship that is authentic, Spirit-led, and Christ-centered.
One of Ivey’s guiding values is to be “clear glass, not stained glass”—to help the congregation see Jesus, not the team standing in front of them. With every song, rehearsal, and service, she strives to point people’s hearts toward the One who deserves all the glory.

Bo Wilkinson | Director of Student Ministries
Bo Wilkinson joined Journey Point in August 2025, bringing with him a deep passion for youth ministry that began when he was a student himself. His own life was shaped by mentors who invested in him, and now he’s committed to doing the same for this generation of students.
Bo’s heartbeat for ministry is helping students grow in their faith and recognize that they can make a real impact right where they are. He believes students reaching their peers by living a life that looks like Christ is one of the most powerful ways to share the gospel.
His ultimate goal is to see young people take ownership of their faith and boldly live out the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19 — “Go and make disciples of all nations.”
